Crafted using the most intricate parts from a 100-year-old cast iron mangle, The Wine Press embodies the essence of authenticity and timeless craftsmanship. Every detail has been meticulously attended to, ensuring that this wine bar is a true ‘one off’.
 
We begin by bisecting and stripping down the original piece, carefully restoring each component to its former glory. Through our exclusive process of hand brushing, sanding, and oiling with our renowned 'Form & Foundry' metal conditioning oil, we unveil the raw beauty of the cast iron, preserving its rich heritage.
 
The middle section of the bar is expertly constructed using three oak beams, skilfully joined together to create a solid and inviting space. To further enhance its vintage appeal, steel braces and square-headed bolts securely bind the ends of the bar, capturing the attention and admiration of all who see it.
 
In addition to its striking design, The Wine Press is equipped with a beer/wine cooler and a wine rack underneath the bar, providing practical functionality while maintaining its aesthetic allure. The original leaf spring and adjustment press remain fully functional, adding a touch of nostalgic charm to this extraordinary piece.
